Table for conveying sheets of paper to printing press

The table aligns the sheets of paper with position marks (18) at the front edge of a sheet processing machine, such as a printing press. An endless band (3) rotates in the sheet transporting direction. The band carries the sheets over two consecutive low pressure suction boxes (4,5). The region near the marks beyond the suction boxes is sized to correspond to the sheet length for processing. Two consecutive transport rollers (12,13) move along the band to adjust this size.
