Tractor front steering wheels

The tractor has its steering wheels (3) positioned at the front. A vertical line (LO) passing through the front wheel axle cuts an axial line (L1) passing through a stub axle pivot (42) to give between them the castor angle ( eta ). The castor angle is behind a point of contact with the ground (G) and is therefore negative. This negative castor angle is between -0.5 deg and -2 deg , preferably chosen at -1 deg . The negative castor angle results in the vehicle having a reduced steering lock and provides comfortable steering.
