摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the reduction of durability of a friction engaging device in advance by inhibiting an astern stage when a condition in which excessive load is applied in the friction engaging device which sets an astern condition in a main gear change section at the time of gear change into the astern stage is detected. SOLUTION: When astern stage is set, excessive load is made not to be applied in a friction engaging device which sets a main shift section to an astern condition and an auxiliary shift section to a high speed stage. For this reason, when oil temperature is compared with a predetermined standard temperature and is lower than the predetermined temperature while the auxiliary shift section is at low speed stage, reverse inhibition condition is produced because there is a possibility that large load is applied after estimating engine output and a possibility that a delay in the control which sets the auxiliary shift section to high speed stage due to the effect of viscosity of oil occurs. In this control, a solenoid 217 of a shift device 200 is energized, and a stopper link 212 is rotated and is positioned just close to a block 201 when an N locking section 215 is moved selectively to a neutral position N. Consequently, the shift of a shift lever 31 from a neutral position to a retreat position in R direction is prevented.
