<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the image processing system by which deformed, blur and satellite dots appearing at characters and lines are eliminated. SOLUTION: In order to express the picture element distribution of a received image in terms of a vector, a reference window is set to detect a geometrical gravity center of picture elements and the number of vectors are calculated is depending on the number of gravity centers detected in the reference window. Then a filter is generated in response to the calculated vector and the generated filter is used for a Morphological Filter to apply filter processing to the vector so as to eliminate and correct deformed, blur and satellite dots appearing at characters and lines of the image.</p> |
