PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene resin foam having a high-temp. resistance, a small average cell size, and an excellent appearance, a rubber-contg. polypropylene resin foam having a high-temp. resistance, a softness, and a small average cell size, and their production processes. SOLUTION: This water-cross-linked polypropylene resin foam is based on a silylated polypropylene resin having silyl groups capable of forming cross-links when brought into contact with water and has an average cell size of 50μm or higher but lower than 150μm and a gel fraction of 40% or higher. This rubber-contg. polypropylene resin foam is based on a mixture comprising the sililated polypropylene resin and 5-60wt.% rubber and has an average cell size of 50μm or higher but lower than 150μm, a gel fraction of 40% or higher, and a corrected tensile modulus lower than 100kg/cm<2> at 25 deg.C. |
