The refrigeration and sealing unit has in its upper part (1a) a refrigerated chamber (2c) of small volume and semi-circular shape. The chamber has walls of a thermally insulating material. A semi-circular door (5) fills the opening in the refrigerated chamber. The door is made of a transparent thermally insulating material. The top of the unit is closed by a cap (7) has a retractable stopper that fits over the top of the bottle. The refrigeration plant is electrically powered and is in the bottom of the unit (1d). The chamber can accept bottles of between 0.5 and 4 litre.
