Each tiling hook (2) consists of a main rod (20) with a hook (21) on one end to fix a tile, and a point (22a) at the other for fixing it to a supporting structure. A number of hooks are joined together by a strip (3) which allows them to be removed separately when required for use, e.g. by allowing the end hook to be pivoted relative to the neighbouring one. The connecting strip (3) is flexible and has zones for attaching the hooks to it by a multi-component or cold-polymerising resin adhesive. The strip itself is preferably of foam or is coated with a layer of a thermofusible, thermo-setting or thermo-polymerising material.
