PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide pre-tilt angle by storing functional relation between a pre-tilt angle and a specified optical value in advance, and receiving visual angle information from a liquid crystal display device and spectral characteristics information from a spectrometry device, for calculating the optical value, so that the value is collated with the former one by one. SOLUTION: A supporting body 1 fixes a liquid crystal display device 2, and an opening part is provided to a part corresponding to a display part. A rotational angle varies with vertical direction as an axis. The irradiating light from a light source 3 is transmitted by the display device 2, and made incident to a spectrometry device 4 deriving wavelength spectral characteristics. A controller 6 controls the device 4 and the rotational angleθof the supporting body 1. A microcomputer 5 identifies a front visual angle, an upper visual angle and a lower visual angle based on rotational angle information from the controller 6, and further, based on spectral characteristics information obtained from the device 4, calculation process wherein the optical value is calculated is performed. In the microcomputer 5, functional relation between a pre-tilt angle and the optical value is stored in advance, and, the calculated optical value is collated with the functional relation, and a single pre-tilt angle value is selected, for making into the pre-tilt angle of the device 2. |
