<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the come-off of a hinge, and prevent the lowering of the engagement retaining force of the hinge. SOLUTION: In an electric connection box where the body 21 and one end side of a cover 22 are coupled with each other by a hinge 23, and a lock mechanism 24 is provided at the other end, a support wall 35 is provided outside the peripheral wall 28 of the body 21. Inside the tip of the support wall 35, a body-side hook 36 C-shaped in cross section whose recess 36a and tip 36b are directed in the direction X of closing a cover and which has secured an insertion port 37 with a fixed width between the tip 36b of itself and the peripheral wall 32 is made integrally. On the side of one end of the cover 22, a cover- side hook 46 C-shaped in cross section whose recess 46a and tip 46b are directed in Y direction of opening the cover is projected. On the base side of the cover- side hook 46, a position regulating groove 42 which fits on the tip of the peripheral wall 32 is provided.
