SOUND-ABSORBING TRIMMING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trimming material that is made using a moquette surface cover having resin packing on its back and that has a high sound-absorbing property. SOLUTION: This trimming material comprises a porous body and a moquette surface cover 10 covering the porous body. The moquette surface cover 10 comprises a gray fabric 15 formed by weaving pile yarn 11 into a ground fabric 16 consisting of warp 18 and weft 19. On the back 161 on the gray fabric 15, a pile foundation 110 and the portion between the warp 18 and the weft 19 are impregnated with a resin packing material. The air permeability of the moquette surface cover 10 is 5 to 60cm<3> /cm<2> .sec (JIS standard).
