The cooker has a half-wave rectifier to control the outputs. The rectifier module has transistors and reversed diodes in parallel with them, along with auxiliary resonance condensers, main resonance condensers and the working coils. The switching section has a transistor with a parallel diode and parallel auxiliary resonance condenser. For a given number of cooking plates, there is the same number of parallel rectifier modules and half that number of switching sections. Alternatively, there may be that number of rectifier modules in series and a single switching section. The rectifier output signals are controlled in time multiplex.
