Stabilisation of ready-made textile goods, which are dyed with vat dyes, against yellowing in air comprises treatment with an aqueous liquor containing peroxide(s) and optionally fabric conditioner and then drying. Also claimed are aqueous liquors for this purpose, which contain peroxide(s) and conditioner(s) in 1:4-4:1 weight ratio.
