摘要 <p>FIELD: laser engineering; power lasers, laser chemistry and medicine, metallurgy, and other industries. SUBSTANCE: solid-state solar-pumped illuminating laser has solar concentrator and light-guide active medium having common symmetry axis and optically coupled together, active medium holding device, and cooling system incorporating radiation cooling panels; solar concentrator is single-mirror focusing device formed by rotating parabola section L about solar concentrator center line parallel to parabola axis and spaced through distance R from it on side opposite that mounting parabola section set in rotary motion; parameters L and R are chosen so that active medium surface area facing sun rays corresponds to area of annular focal spot of focusing device; active medium holding device is made of heat conducting material in the form of truncated cone facing with its smaller base the solar concentrator, their symmetry axis being common; active medium holding device is closed on sun end with solar radiation reflecting screen; cooling system incorporates heat pipes mounted in active medium holding device, passed through hole in concentrator central part, and joined with radiation cooling panels. Laser is suitable for operation at solar radiation concentrationξof about 10and active medium spectral efficiency of 20-40% as well as in active medium operating temperature range. EFFECT: improved generating power and efficiency of laser.</p>
