PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To weld a steel stud bolt and the like to an aluminum panel securely and firmly at low cost. SOLUTION: A washer 3, which is constituted by joining the metal 3a of the same kind as the base metal with a different kind of metal 3b by cladding, is fitted into a stud bolt 4 so that the side with the same kind of metal as the base metal may come into contact with the base metal at the time of welding, with the washer joined to the lower face of the stud bolt head preliminarily by welding for example; and then, this stud bolt 4 is inserted into the base metal 1 and welded by DC electric resistance welding. In addition, the washer to be used may be one that is joined to the upper face of the stud bolt head by means of welding for the same kinds of metal; or it may be a discoidal member. |
