Cushion comprising separate beads inside a flexible cover uses a cover having an inside surface with a maximum dynamic friction coefficient of 0.3. Preferably the cover is an air-permeable (non)woven fabric, or alternatively it may be a woven nylon balloon material whose bead-contacting side has friction coefficients of 0.18 and 0.22 in the warp and weft directions respectively. The beads are made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) and comprise 35-60% of the cushion's maximum volume. |
