The tool has central and lateral drilling hammers supported by a rotary circular plate which is driven by rubber-covered wheels (15,16) interacting with the bottom and sides of the well. The lower, rotary section of the drilling assembly is supported by an upper fixed assembly, and the two assemblies are connected by a rotary coupling. The two sets of wheels (15,16) are driven by motor and reduction gear units using pressure fluid used to power the hammers as a source of energy, and pressure is applied to the lower wheels by springs (21) between them and the rotary plate. The debris produced by the drilling hammers is gathered by brushes and taken to the surface via a suction pipe.
