摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device having high precision, high performance and stable image quality without causing any ghost and suitable for a digital method by using an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a specified charge transfer layer. SOLUTION: In this electrophotograhic photoreceptor, a conductive substrate 3, a charge generating layer 1, an inhomogeneous charge transfer layer 5 for making photo-induced potential attenuation characteristic into a S-shape, and further a uniform charge transfer layer 6 for smooth charge transfer formed are provided successively. The inhomogeneous charge transfer layer 5 has an inhomogeneous structure having charge transfer domains dispersed in an electric inactive matrix. The charge transfer domains form charge transfer paths having charge generating ability for the light in 400 to 900nm wavelength region. The uniform charge transfer layer 6 consists of a charge transfer matrix. This device is equipped with a light source for exposure the wavelength region of which is controlled to give >=70% transmittance of the inhomogeneous charge transfer layer 5.
