PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to scattered light in the part of a methacrylic optical fiber where the light is to be scattered in the state approximate to the state of light source light by boring the clad and the core of the surface of the methacrylic optical fiber to be scattered light bored with a through-hole or V-shaped hole by using a laser heat ray or soldering iron, etc. SOLUTION: The clad 3 and core 4 of the surface of the methacrylic optical fiber or glass optical fiber is bored with the through-hole 5 or the V-shaped hole 6 by using the laser heat ray or the soldering iron, etc. The sunshine, or the light of a halogen electric bulb, laser beam or xenon tube is made incident from the photodetecting part formed with the single fiber bored with such through-hole 5 as the single fiber or arrayed with the single fibers as double fibers on a plane and is scattered from the through-hole 5. The methacrylic optical fiber bored with the through-hole 5 or the V-shaped hole 6 is, therefore, inserted into the fluorescent glass tube part of a mini-fluorescent tube, by which UV rays are emitted and diffused with fluorescent dyes. |
