<p>A photographic film scanner (50) for scanning a film strip (56) containing a plurality of photographic images is disclosed. Previous scanners are slow and are limited to scanning one type of film using one resolution. With the disclosed scanner (50), the film strip (56) is quickly and continuously advanced through the scanner (50) and a digital image of the film strip (56) is created. Individual images contained in the digital image of the film strip are located and displayed. The scanner (50) accepts multiple types of film and can scan at variable resolutions.</p> |
