PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet printer which can clean a wiper member in a saved space. SOLUTION: A wiper holder 27 supporting a wiper member 23 is supported to be movable forward/backward in an inclined direction to a moving path of a printing head. The wiper member 23 can move between a position where the wiper member protrudes into the moving path of the printing head and a standby position retreated from the protruding position. The wiper member butts against a cleaning foam 32 of an ink-absorbing body at the standby position. The cleaning foam 32 removes foreign substance and excess ink. |
