Mince meat washing assembly incorporates sludge settlement water tank

An assembly cleans a circulating flow of water used to wash mince meat particles. The assembly comprises: (a) water enters a sedimentation tank (10) which has an inlet (12) and an outlet (17) for cleaned water; (b) the tank also has an outlet (13) for sludge sediment, and a recirculation buffer tank (18) which holds clean water from the sedimentation tank (10); (c) a hydro-cyclone (19) to clean water mixed with sludge sediment, located between the tank sludge outlet (13) and inlet (12).
