PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simulate the colors of a source image with fidelity corresponding to an environment in observing the source image having known color separation values. SOLUTION: The color separation values of the source image photographed by a camera 25 are inputted to a 1st conversion part 32 where learning is finished, the inputted color separation values are converted to three main component vector coefficients at least, and the converted main component vector coefficients are inputted to a 2nd conversion part 34. At the 2nd conversion part 34, beam split distribution is found by multiplying stored main component vector and the main component vector coefficients and at a 3rd conversion part 36, the beam split distribution is converted to saturation values under a desired light source while using the light source information of the instructed light source and the beam split distribution of the source image. Next, at a 4th conversion part 38, the saturation values are converted to signals in R, G and B while using the display characteristic values of a monitor and displayed on the monitor 30. Therefore, an object photographed under the desired light source is displayed in the colors in the case of observation on the monitor 30. |
