PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare both a prepreg capable of providing a fiber-reinforced plastic(FRP) capable of affording a high utilization ratio of tensile strength without deteriorating the elastic modulus and heat resistance of a matrix resin and the FRP. SOLUTION: This prepreg comprises (A) reinforcing fibers and (B) a thermosetting resin composition having >=3.0MPa tensile elastic modulus at ambient temperature, >=120 deg.C glass transition point, 0.5-3.0MPa.m<1/2> fracture toughness K1c (MPa.m<1/2> ), 1.5-15% breaking elongationε(%) and the relationship between K1c andεof K1c +0.35g>=2.1 in a cured product thereof. A fiber-reinforced composite material is obtained from the prepreg. |
