PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound having skin-beautifying and whitening effect, prevention of chapped skin and improving effect and excellent in safety. SOLUTION: This tranexamic acid derivative comprises an amide substance of a tranexamic acid derivative of the formula [(n) is 1-18] with a straight-chain amino alcohol and its salt, e.g. N-(3'hydroxypropyl)-trans-4-aminomethyl-1 cyclohexanecarboxylic acid amide hydrochloride. The compound of the formula is obtained by reacting tranexamic acid or its reactive derivative with a straight-chain amino alcohol in a solvent (e.g. dichloroethane) at an ambient temperature to boiling point of the solvent for 1-8hr. When tranexamic acid is directly reacted, the reaction is preferably carried out in the presence of a condensing agent such as dicyclohexylcarbodiimide. A skin preparation for external use of cosmetic, medicine, etc., is prepared by including at least one or more kinds of amide substance of the compound of the formula with a straight-chain aminoalchol and its salt in an amount of 0.001-20wt.% as an active ingredient. |
