PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a herbicide composition effective for field horsetails, etc., which is strongly resistant to glyphosate, by adding a specific herbicidal active component, an emulsifier, a glycol and water to a glyphosate system known as an effective herbicide. SOLUTION: In this herbicide emulsion composition, a hardly water soluble herbicidal active component mixture (except glyphosate), an emulsifier, a glycol and residual water are combined together with glyphosate or a water soluble glyphosate salt. As the hardly water soluble herbicide, a phenoxy acid alkyl ester is preferable. For this thick aqueous emulsion, a water immiscible solvent consisting of an alkylbenzene derivative is preferably used. As the emulsifier, POE caster oil ether, etc., are preferable. As the glycol, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, etc., are preferable. A fungicidal agent and/or a bactericidal agent can be added to the system. The composition causes almost no separation and coagulation of the herbicidal active component, is stably emulsified for a long time and can be effectively sprayed in a small amount. |
