PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for forming a thermoplastic cement capable of being sufficiently hydrated. SOLUTION: A mixed material wherein a thermoplastic resin, cement, and water are mixed is supplied to an extruder 10 with a hopper 12, and the mixed material is compacted in a first mold 18 at a temperature of water boiling point or under with a piston 16 of an oil hydraulic cylinder 14. The mixed material extruded into a second mold 20 is heated with heaters 22, 24 inside and outside the second mold 20. Therefore, the thermoplastic resin is melted to be integrated. The mixed material shaped with a mandrel 26 at an outlet of the second mold 20 is cooled in a third mold 28. Since running short of water for hydration does not occur in the extruder, the cement is effectively hydrated, and can be efficiently formed by using a thermoplastic cement composition. |
