<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iron golf club head which hardly transmits vibration at the time of impact to the hands and provides an excellent fitting feel. SOLUTION: This iron golf club head is formed with a sole 3 from the bottom end of a face 1 for hitting a ball toward a back face 2 side and is formed with a recess 5 in the central part enclosed by a rib formed on the circumference of the back face 2.
