PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser oscillator having a structure allowing a desired oscillator to be selected according to different specifications suited to the purpose of the working machines and obtain a const. beam position in the same shape. SOLUTION: The high frequency discharge gas laser oscillator excites a gas contg. CO2 -gas by the high frequency discharge and the discharging direction, the optical axis and gas flow are mutually perpendicular. The gas discharging electrodes 11A-11F, 13A, 13B, power sources 9A-9F for feeding these electrodes with powder and blowers 15A-15D for forcibly circulating the gas are divided into a plurality of units, the main parts of the oscillator i.e. heat exchangers, vacuum hermetic vessels 3, vacuum exhaust pumps and optical resonators 5 have identical shapes and the oscillator has a structure allowing desired number of divided units to be mounted. According to the output specifications, the common parts of identical shapes and selectable number of parts are mounted to from the oscillator. |
