PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a packed material of a food continuously producible by a simple process, capable of reducing a packing cost. SOLUTION: This packed material 1 of a food is obtained by housing a food M such as edible meat and fish and shellfish to ooze a juice in a bag comprising a film 2. A flexible liquid absorbing sheet piece 3 is stuck to the inner wall face of the film 2 by partial sealing parts 7 formed by partial heat- sealing at parts close to four corners of the sheet piece. A flexible nonwoven fabric composed of synthetic fiber of polypropylene, polyethylene, polyester, polyamide, etc., excellent in heat sealability is preferably used as the flexible nonwoven fabric.
