The invention concerns a system for controlling the attention of vehicle drivers. The system contains a visual display (1), e.g. a number of light emitting diodes (5a-f) located behind a partly transparent driver's mirror. A number of sensors (2, 10, 11, 12) detect the driver's response when the display is activated, and is also continuously monitoring the driver's control of the conveyance of the vehicle. The output signals of the sensors (2, 11) are functions of variations of the speed or course of the vehicle. Furthermore, the system contains an electronic control unit (3) with functions for analysis of the sensor signals and determination of the point of time etc. for activation of the display (1). In the absence of response, an acoustic alarm device (4) is activated after a certain time. |
