PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable installing of a navigation unit in an optional direction with a gyrosensor carrier thereon. SOLUTION: In a navigation unit, a gyrosensor 31 is carried thereon. A mounting mechanism is arranged to freely alter the direction of carrying the gyrosensor 31 so that a rotation detecting shaft of the gyrosensor 31 is set in the direction vertical to a vehicle. In this case, as the rotation detecting shaft of the gyrosensor 31 can be placed in the direction vertical to the vehicle, the navigation unit can be stalled in an optional direction with the gyrosensor 31 carried thereon. Like the conventional navigation unit, a gyrounit with the gyrosensor is produced separately from the navigation unit thereby eliminating the need for direct installation of the gyrounit on the vehicle. |
