摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to form a flat reflection surface of an arbitrary angle having the boundary line of regions at the bottom end of the slope surface of a reflection material supporting layer by providing the inside surfaces of a light taking-out groove with regions exhibiting two different contact angles with a liquid curing material and specifying the relation between the angle of inclination and the contact angles of this reflection material supporting layer. SOLUTION: The inside surfaces of the light taking-out groove 4 of a depth D and width L in the rectangular section consist of a first wall surface 5 which is the end of a waveguide, a second wall surface 6 facing this surface and a base. This base is divided to the region 5' of the high contact angleθH and the region 6' of the low contact angleθL varying in wettability with the liquid curing material 7 with the boundary line (a distance (d) from the second wall surface 6) parallel with the first and second wall surfaces 5, 6 as a boundary. The contact anglesθL,θH are so set as to satisfyθL<=θ<=θH with respect to the angleθof inclination of the reflection material supporting layer given byθ=tan<-1> (D/d). A liquid volume regulating groove 9 is disposed near a liquid reservoir 8 and, further, a flow rate control L groove 10 communicating the light taking-out groove 4 with the liquid reservoir 8 is disposed.
