PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover toner left after transfer on a photoreceptor by the surface of a cleaning roller to which toner does not adhere and to enhance recovering efficiency by providing a damming member damming and accumulating the toner recovered on the cleaning roller from the photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The damming member 21 damming the toner recovered on the cleaning roller 12 when the toner left after transfer T1 is recovered from the photoreceptor 1 on the roller 12 and accumulating the toner to be restored from the roller 12 to the photoreceptor 1 is provided in the casing 17 of a cleaning device 18. That means, the recovered toner on the roller 12 is dammed by the member 21 and temporarily scraped from the roller 12. Therefore, the toner left after transfer T1 on the photoreceptor 1 is recovered by the surface of the roller 12 to which the toner does not adhere after passing the member 21. |
