<p>This invention provides laminates useful for display device applications. An illustrative laminate comprises a polarizing film, and a protective layer, bonded by means of an intermediary adhesive layer. A polarizing film useful for such a laminate construction comprises a liquid crystalline polyester and a dichroic dye. The invention further provides a process to prepare such laminates.</p> |
