PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare the subject composition, comprising a specific surfactant and a water-soluble solvent in a specified proportion, having high detergency and antifouling properties of preventing excreta from sticking to a toilet stool, etc., without damaging a resin used in a toilet seat, etc., when washing parts around the toilet stool. SOLUTION: This detergent composition for a toilet comprises (A) 0.01-20wt.% surfactant mixture containing (A1 ) an anionic surfactant such as a polyoxyethylene 8-20C alkyl ether sulfate having 1-50 average number of added mol of ethylene oxide or an 8-20C alkyl sulfate and (A2 ) an amphoteric surfactant of the formula [R1 is an 8-20C alkyl or alkenyl; R2 and R5 are each a (substituted)1-5C alkylene; R, and R. are each H or a 1-3C alkyl] at (99/1) to (25/75) weight ratio of the components A1 /A2 and (B) 0.1-20wt.% water-soluble solvent such as a mono- to a trihydric 1-5C alcohol or its alkyl ether compound and, as necessary, further (C) 0.1-10wt.% chelating agent such as oxalic acid or ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid. |
