PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent skip stitches, thread tightening defective, false stitches, etc., for forming uniform stitches. SOLUTION: A work 401 is held by upper and lower die pressers 25, 26 to be rotated by aθ-axis motor 31. A machine head part 53 is a sewing machine to form double chain stitches by double needles, and it gets closer to/apart from the work 401. Outer circumferential parts of the work 401 are sewn based on prescribed sewing pattern data. A small base 52 on which the machine head part 53 is rotated by a machine turning motor about a turn center of an axial core line of a needle rod on a large base 51. This turn control is performed in accordance with prescribed machine turn data in such a way that a direction of a line connecting a current needle drop position to a needle drop position for a previous stitch coincides with a sewing direction of the sewing machine. An axial direction of a presser foot thus coincides with above line direction, and a length direction of the machine head part 53 becomes perpendicular to the line.
