PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireproof wall repair method of a surface melting furnace capable of avoiding a large-scaled repair work over a long period.SOLUTION: A fireproof wall repair method of a surface melting furnace in which an inner cylinder 20 including a side wall 21 coated with a fireproof wall and a furnace ceiling 22, and an outer cylinder 10 having a slag hole 13 on a bottom portion 12 are relatively rotatably disposed, and a molten matter supply passage 2 is formed between the inner cylinder 20 and the outer cylinder 10, includes a protective layer formation process for forming a protective layer L on at least a surface of the side wall 21 by injecting a repairing material to the fireproof wall surface from a nozzle device 30 disposed on the furnace ceiling 22 during furnace operation, and a refractory layer formation process for crystallizing the protective layer by lowering a furnace temperature after the protective layer formation process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
