PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid wheel having a structure which is excellent in installation between a rim and a disc. SOLUTION: In a hybrid wheel, a rim 2 consisting of compound material and a metallic disc 3 are assembled with each other via an assembling edge 6, which is formed at a free peripheral end of the disc 3, while the edge part 6 is inserted into the rim 2 in such a manner that both surfaces of the assembling edge part 6 are covered with the rim 2. The production process of the wheel consists of a stage (of work) for manufacturing the metallic disc 3, a stage in which the free peripheral end 6 is positioned within a die, and a stage in which the rim 2 is molded on the free peripheral end 6 in such a manner that both surfaces of the free peripheral end 6 are covered with the rim 2. |
