PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning-adjustable support apparatus for a surgery table that is safe and easy to manipulate.SOLUTION: An adjustable support apparatus 10 for a surgery table uses a patient platform having first and second end portions. A first end support 14 and a second end support are used to mount the patient platform which is adjusted by a carriage 46, 48 having a pawl element. The carriage includes studs 50, 52 having support surfaces for the patient platform. A tower 42 using a gear rack interacts with the carriage pawl element to position the patient platform relative to the first and second end support of the surgery table.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
