PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of the return rotation of an operation pedal due to the movement of a pole in a parking brake operation device which is disigned so that the activation direction of a pole activation mechanism is reversed by the movement of a predetermined dimension of the pole which prevents the return rotation of the operation pedal and the operation pedal is repressed by a foot to release the engagement of the pole and a ratchet for permitting the return rotation of the operation pedal. SOLUTION: A rotary lever 36 is provided between a pole 30 and a turnover spring 38 to augment the movement (movement from (b) to (c) of the pole 30 with the lever ratio of the rotary lever 36, and an end part of the turnover spring 38 is largely displaced together with a second engagement part 36 to make a turnover. Therefore, the amount of movement of the pole can be reduced without impairing the turnover function to reduce the amount of rotation of the operation pedal 16. |
