PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform control of the hydraulic cylinder of a skid steer loader. SOLUTION: A control stem 42 controls operation of the hydraulic cylinder of a skid steer loader. The control system is provided with a movable element movable by an operator. A position sensor 46 is coupled to the movable element and provides a position signal displaying the position of the movable element. The control device is coupled to the position sensor so that the position signal is received and based on the position signal, a control signal is generated. A valve spool 52 controls a flow of hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic cylinder. A actuator 50 is coupled to a control device and the valve spool and in response to a control signal from the control device, the valve spool is operated.
