PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit device with other function such as a leveling function for adjusting the distribution of luminous intensity of a headlamp, without changing a dedicated IC in the first circuit device by every kind of car. SOLUTION: A microcomputer 3-8 is installed in a lighting circuit device (a first circuit device) 3 of a discharge lamp for a car corresponding to an ASIC 3-7. The sensor information from an ignition switch 5, the car height sensors 6, 7 and a car speed sensor 8, is given to the microcomputer 3-8 as the external information. The microcomputer 3-8 generates the information on the distribution of luminous intensity corresponding to the specified kind of car, on the basis of the given external information, and supplies the information on the distribution of luminous intensity, to a leveling device 4 through the ASIC 3-7.
