<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enables safe and elaborate maintenance and inspection work without restrictions on the period of the work, by placing a circuit breaker on the primary side of an exciting power transformer. SOLUTION: An exciting power transformer 8 is connected through a circuit breaker 15a as the exciting circuit of a generator 1, and an exciting apparatus 10 is connected through a bus duct 9. In a maintenance or inspection work on the exciting circuit 8, the bus duct 9 and the exciting apparatus 10, the circuit breaker 15a is opened to separate the exciting power transformer 8, the bust duct 9 and the exciting apparatus 10, positioned downstream therefrom, from a phase separation bus 5. This eliminates the need for to using a transformer 14 in maintenance or inspection work on the generator 1 and the exciting circuit, and maintenance and inspection work are not restracted. For this reason, it is possible to closely perform maintenance and inspection work on the exciting circuit for the generator 1 in safety, thereby enhancing the safety and reliability of power plants.</p> |
