<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make gloves and waste cloths unnecessary and eliminate any unpleasant feeling and odor, by providing recessed portions in the central portions of the insides of halved cylindrical sponges, and by providing on the peripheries of the sponges two openable rubbers with inlets for incoming cables. SOLUTION: Providing recessed portions 5, 5 in the central portions of the insides of halved cylindrical sponges 1, 1, a lubricant applying tool is formed to provide on the peripheries of the sponges 1, 1 two openable rubbers 3, 3 with inlets 6 for incoming cables. Further, when using the tool, filling a necessary amount of lubricant 2 for incoming cables into the recessed portion 5 of the sponge 1 present on the lower side, the lubricant 2 is applied to a cable 4, while squashing the tool having the interposed cable 4 between the sponges 1, 1. Therefore, gloves and waste cloths are not required, and the hands and working clothes of an operator are not soiled either.</p> |
