PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin compsn. which, when used as a molding material for a sliding member used in contact with a soft metal sliding member, gives a sliding member which does not attack the mating material and hardly exhibits self-abrasion under a high pressure by adding spherical glass particles having specified particle sizes to a tetrafluoroethylene resin. SOLUTION: This compsn. comprises about 40-95wt.% tetrafluoroethylene resin and about 60-5wt.% spherical glass particles having an average particle size of about 10-500μm or comprises about 40-95wt.% tetrafluoroethylene resin, about 60-5wt.% spherical glass particles having an average particle size of about 10-500μm, and about 55-5wt.% solid lubricant other than the tetrafluoroethylene resin. The compsn. is used as a molding material for a sliding member used in contact with a soft metal sliding member.
