<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve precision when installing a wedge bulb, and to reduce the number of parts and assembling processes. SOLUTION: A pin 74 of a wedge bulb 7 is pressed into a cylindrical part 80 of a terminal 8. The wedge bulb 7 is securely installed in the terminal 8. A reference plane 75 at the top of the pin 74 is brought into contact with a reference plane 9 at the bottom of the cylindrical part 80. This determines a position of the wedge bulb 7 when installing it. Consequently, the wedge bulb 7 can be installed at a predetermined position with high precision. Only a small number of parts such as the pin 74 of the wedge bulb 7 and a slit of the terminal 8 are necessary. Moreover, the number of assembling processes can be reduced because only the pin 74 of the wedge bulb 7 is pressed into the cylindrical part 80 of the terminal 8 so that the reference plane 75 at the top of the pin 74 is brought into contact with the reference plane 9 at the bottom of the cylindrical part 80.</p> |
