PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasifying furnace burner which is used for a gasifying furnace of a fossil fuel by significantly improving durability in a high temperature reducing atmosphere. SOLUTION: An alloy material containing at least two of Co, Ni, Cr and Al or an alloy material produced by adding at least one of Y, Hf, Ta, Si and B thereto is applied as undercoat 34 at a thickness of 50-1,000μm with a pore rate in a range of 0.3-8% by a flame coating method on the surface of a burner base material made of heat resistant steel or a heat resistant alloy, namely, on a tip face part of a water-cooled jacket 30 formed at the tip part of a burner tip part. Thereafter, ZrO3 based ceramics containing at least one of Y2 O3 , CaO, CeO2 and MgO are applied on the undercoat 34 by the flame coating method at a thickness of 30-1,000μm with a pore rate in a range of 8-20% to cover a top coat 36.
