<p>A valve (100) including a housing defining an interior, entry port (122), an exit orifice (134), and a fuel path (124, 126) between the entry port (122) and exit orifice (134), a magnetic coil (118) associated with the interior of the housing, and a resilient valve element (136) defining an outer section (138) fixedly secured to the housing, an interior section (142) engaging and closing the exit orifice (134) and a spring section (140) between the outer section (138) and the interior section (142) defining at least one aperture (144). The resilient valve element (136) will be deflected such that the interior section (142) of the valve element (136) is disengaged and spaced apart from the exit orifice (134) in response to an application of a predetermined voltage to the coil (118).</p> |
