METHOD OF SOIL COVER DIAGNOSIS BY REMOTE INFORMATION DATA

FIELD: agriculture; mapping. SUBSTANCE: soil cover diagnosis is performed proceeding from analysis of results of multizone image processing by clusterization method. These results are presented in the form of statistic table and cluster map. Interpretation is performed by graphic-analytical method with the use of new vegetation indices-differences of spectral brightness in green, red and adjacent infra-red range. Analysis of cluster distribution in this space allows interpretation of soil cover under conditions of open surface, makes it possible to carry out generalization of clusters which differ only in types of cultures and their development phases, as well as to solve questions of cartographic picture interpretation with respect to real conditions.
