The present invention is related to a coating composition for preventing and restraining corrosion and degradation in any type of metallic surface or any other material, said coating composition comprising a mixture of high and medium density alkane hydrocarbons, a low density polyolefinic compound, an optional fungicide, all of the aforementioned compounds being incorporated to an organic solvent which performs as a vehicle. The composition of the present invention is useful as an anti-corrosive and protective coating for metallic and non-metallic parts exposed to weathering.
